“Recommended with caution because you could either love or hate this place. It's a building filled with stalls, shops selling literally anything and everything. These stalls supply stores and do sell in volume so it can be chaotic as other businesses come here to source for goods. Bring cash and your best negotiation skills. You don't have to buy in bulk but always ask for a discount! ”

“If you are looking for bargains, like clothes, shoes, etc, you can visit Tutuban Mall in Divisoria. This is where the locals shop when they are in a budget. You can haggle with the vendors as prices here are always negotiable. But be ready to squeeze through the crowd as this is a very crowded place specially during the month of December as this is also where many locals shop for their Christmas gifts. Also, you have to be very mindful of your personal belongings at all times, since this is a crowded place, it also attract pickpockets.”

“This is a part of China Town where you might be interested in visiting! Ongpin St. is famous as gold& jewelry, Fengshui, etc. trading street! Most stores there are operating from 8am to 7pm/7 days a week! Well, I have to say, the date you must go visit Ongpin St. is on China lunar Year! Because you will see the parade and some of shows to celebrate the Chinese year!! Nonetheless, it will be so crowded on that day, must be careful with your belongings! ”

“Escolta in its heyday was a bustling, shopping mecca likened to Fifth Avenue of NYC and Orchard Road of Singapore. Today, the famous street is slowly being brought back to life, first with the restoration of First United Building where you can find a culture market, cafes, barbershop, co-working studios, and more. Once you are in the area, you can easily walk to Chinatown where there are plenty of good eats. Bakeries - Salazar, Holand and Eng Bee Tin Dimsum - President's Grand Palace and Wai Ying Lunch - Ang Tunay Beef House and Cosmo's Snacks - Quik Snack, Sincerity and Chuan Kee”

“You might want to visit 'Divisoria' for that bargain shopping. Go to 168 mall or 999 mall for super cheap items. Lucky Chinatown Mall is more high-end than the 2 (with regular mall prices). This area is in Chinatown or what we call 'Binondo' and there are lots of good Chinese restaurants around as well.”
