We hope our home away from home is as comfortable for you as it is for us! This gorgeous home has eight spacious bedrooms and is beautifully decorated from top to bottom with high end furnishings, luxurious pillow-top mattresses, and fine quality linens for your utmost comfort. On the main floor we have a large kitchen and family room with two bedrooms with queen sized beds, and upstairs we have 6 additional bedrooms (including the expansive master suite!) and the games room.
The kitchen and family room areas are truly the heart of the house. The massive gourmet kitchen will WOW you and it is fully stocked with all amenities so you'll be sure to dazzle your guests at food prep and serving time. Dinner with family and friends is effortless and enjoyable in this incredible room. The kitchen bar seats 8-10 and the dining nook seats 4-6 so there is definitely room for everyone! A second fridge/freezer and a second full size oven add additional convenience for large groups. If you prefer to grill outdoors, the large outdoor BBQ and patio furniture wait your use on the patio overlooking the lake. In the family room, the two large leather sectionals seat 4-6 people each and are perfect for lounging and relaxing after a day out on the lake. There are large picture windows looking North towards the lake from both these rooms so the view can be enjoyed at any time of day. There are two bedrooms with queen beds just off the living room, and there is one full bathroom and one half bath downstairs. You can also find the den and living room downstairs, perfect for relaxing and reading a book from the library while taking in those lake views, and a laundry room just off the garage.
After a great meal and good conversation you can take the party (and your favourite beverage) outside for a relaxing evening in the hot tub. The fresh clean air, invigorating bubbles and view of the moonlit lake are sure to relax you before bed.
If you find that the hot tub isn't quite relaxing enough, venture over to the private massage room in the den so you can be swept away to a deeper form of relaxation. A massage table among the calming décor of flickering candles, soft music and aromatherapy massage oils amidst flowing fabric will ensure “a night to remember.” Arrangements can be made in advance for a massage therapist to come to the Manor at an additional fee.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms with windows facing North towards the lake, and two bedrooms facing south. Three of these bedrooms have queen beds, one has two twin beds, one has a king bed, and one is the Master Suite. You don't see a Master Suite like this very often; it is as big as a small apartment, measuring at approximately 560 square feet including the ensuite and walk in closet! The Master has a very luxurious king size bed with a jacuzzi tub in the same room for those romantic evenings in, a 6' x 10' walk in closet, double sinks, a walk in shower with two shower heads, and a separate ensuite with a toilet. Also upstairs is the rec room where we have a foosball table, a pool table, and a ping pong table for your enjoyment. Whether you're a kid or a "kid at heart" the rec room will surely entertain and occupy the kids and adults for hours. If you prefer your sports outdoors and want to burn up some energy, the basketball net and large concrete patio at the side of the house is perfect for a game of one on one.
Enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper on the upper front deck. Step out through the double french doors onto the front balcony for a breathtaking view. Two quaint bistro sets perched high above the neighboring landscape offer a calming, refreshing way to start your day.
There are water craft available for your use to explore the lake. We have kayaks, canoes and a pedal boat all of which are provided at your own risk (life jackets are available in the garage). We have a beautiful sandy beach with 78 feet of lakeshore, and we even have beach chairs and a fire pit, though all fire regulations and bans for Rural Oliver must be followed.
