La maison est tout simplement génial. Propre, confortable, totalement équipé, merveilleux! Et ... une vue imprenable sur l'océan !! Il était parfois difficile de sortir de la maison parce que nous nous sentions si bien sur la terrasse, en train de lire ou d'avoir un vin, avec le soleil et le vent. Parking facile et gratuit devant la maison. Nous venons de cette maison ne le recommanderais pour les personnes ayant des difficultés de déplacement en raison de l'escalier. Ce fut une magnifique maison de rester! Sur la plage avec et balcon avec vue sur l'océan et tout le nécessaire. Il est évident qu'ils font un excellent travail pour prendre soin de la maison. Notre séjour a été parfait et je recommanderais à personne sans hésiter!

We got welcomed by the cleaners of the house and showed us how everything works. Lovely and big appartment with nice balcony. Swimming pool is part of the total housing complex. By a little walk you come to the pool. Most of the time we were alone at that swimming pool area. Also a fitness room is available. Totally worth staying here and recommended!

Ana was very nice and took care of me very well. She even picked me up and brought me to a good place to continue my journey at the end which was a bit help. The house was beautiful, clean and I felt great there! A great place to stay if you want to be in that area (it's close to Furnas which has a lot of beautiful nature, lagunes and hot springs) with a good cost for value ratio in my opinion.

Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful spot. Beautiful house and a wonderful host. Hot soup was waiting for us after our arrival from the airport. Including a fresh baked carrot cake and muffins and a full fridge for breakfast. Recommend it to everyone including families with children.

Le nous a accueillis avec une belle soupe, un panier plein de fruits et d'un réfrigérateur rempli. Il était plus agréable, mieux et plus beau que ce que nous attendions. Si nous voyageons à Sao Miguel à nouveau, nous réserverons maison Marias à nouveau - sans aucun doute! Vila Franca do Campo est un très bon endroit pour séjourner. This place was amazing, the view is exceptional, the condo is modern and completely updated, the location in Vila Franca is unbeatable. It was everything as advertised and more, the pictures actually don't do it justice, the real views are better. Eu gostei da atitude aberta, acolhedora e social de João. Eu estava muito bem-vindo desde o primeiro dia de chegada. Eu recomendo que você totalmente para ficar no apartamento de João, porque você vai ter um grande momento.

João foi muito flexível com a nossa chegada precoce. Ficamos por duas noites, o lugar é espaçoso e também muito perto da marina que achamos muito conveniente. A vista da sacada foi muito agradável. Graças João!

Joao is a really friendly and relaxed guy. He showed us around the apartment and showed us where everything was and told us to use whatever we needed. The Sunset Room, in which we stayed has access to the balcony which overlooks the Marina (which is really close to the house.) We spent most of our time exploring the Island with our rented car, which worked quite well (private parking available free of charge behind Joaos apartment). However, since we were there in winter, we found Vila Franca do Campo a bit deserted, but that should be quite different in the summer.

Staying at Joaos appartment was absolutely perfect for us, as it is located right next to the marina from where we were diving. The room was very clean as was the rest of the appartment ( 2x bathrooms, kitchen, living room, balcony). We had access to all of these as well as a room to dry out scuba diving equipment which was perfect! Nearby there is a couple of good restaurants and cafe bars, so it's a good place to stay for marine activities. The beach is also 2 minutes away and is really lovely. Thanks Joao!

The listing was even more breathtaking than the photos. Margarida was always responsive in a timely manner and their maid Nelia greeted us with a smile and had stocked the kitchen with essentials which proved very helpful.

This is a very beautiful house in a small farming village; very clean and comfortable. We did not meet Margarida but we were in contact with her father and did meet him near the end of the stay. The living room area in the house has 3 floor to ceiling walls, with amazing views. There is a supermarket a few minutes away by car. I would highly recommend this house.

Me and a friend stayed at this beautiful house for 4 days and loved the mix of rustique and modern. The house has a private location, very tranquil which we loved. You almost definitely need a car though. And remember that these old stone houses do get quite cold during the evenings/nights. Some minor issues with the hot water and electricity but it was taken care of right away. Very friendly and helpful hosts from the beginning and throughout! Would recommend a stay here.

Our stay in Casa do Alto D'Água was absolutely perfect. It's a very special house in one of the most beautiful place in Açores. The house is spacious and very well organized with everything you need. The surroundings, the little garden, the stupendous view onto Ilhéu de Vila França do Campo , everything is completely amazing... Rui and Margarida were fantastic owners and taken care us very well , easy communication and good advises. A nossa estadia foi absolutamente perfeita !
