This ski-resort is just a short 25min drive up the hill where I learned how to ski/snowboard. Plenty of beginner runs as well as black diamonds. The lodge is great for those who wanna sight-see with a coffee bar and plenty of food options. They have a great Ski school, private lessons as well as rentals and a sports shop!

Enjoy the drive
Most places are about a 15minute drive so just plan to enjoy the beauty of the trees as you drive to and from restaurants, etc. There are a few Uber drivers in the area, but I鈥檝e never used one. The casino provides a shuttle if you park there and you鈥檙e planning to see a live performance at Their Pavillion in Tuolumne City.
