This is a flat, easy, beautiful course within walking distance of the guesthouse. You can book a tee time online or over the phone (602) 534-4653. With rates from $23-$37, it's also pretty affordable.
If you don't have time for a round, you can hit their driving range or just stroll the course. The course is open for the general public to walk around every day in the mornings until 30 minutes after sunrise and each night starting 30 minutes before sunset. This course has great trails, a pond, and several geese and ducks to entertain you. There is a pedestrian gate at the end of our street for easy access.

Piestewa Peak is the perfect hike if you like to wake up early and get that blood flowing. Sometimes my son and I will hike this mountain before school. It's not too strenuous, but difficult enough that you feel like you accomplished something. Make sure you go early in the morning if you're visiting in the summer!

This place is very unique. It has no sign out front, just a door. One day, I was disappointed when I went to Luci's Marketplace (next door) for brunch, and the wait was too long. I was walking back to my car and passed the entrance to Dick's Hideaway. It struck me as strange that it had no identifying features, so I opened the door to assuage my curiosity. I was thrilled to find an intriguing restaurant with no wait! The food was excellent, as were the drinks. It has quickly become a favorite, and I've been back many times. The atmosphere is dark.. it almost feels like you're in a cave or tavern or something, but that just adds to its charm.
Fun Fact: Dick's Hideaway has 2 sister restaurants in the area: The Rokerij and Richardson's. Both are excellent as well.
