This great walk is an easy drive from Lynton Court. The walk itself is relatively easy but make sure you take a torch and then don't forget to turn your torch off once you're in the tunnel as you'll then see the fantastic glow worms which look like stars around you.

Lynton Court is centrally located in Lithgow so walking to pubs, clubs, restaurants and supermarkets and local shops is easy. It is also a short walk from the railway station so is a very scenic 2.5 hr train trip from Sydney with trains every couple of hours most days.
