The ferry is just 3 blocks down from our house and takes you across the Mississippi to Canal street. This drops you off right across from The Harrahs casino, is right next to the New Orleans aquarium and is only blocks away from the quarter.
It costs $2 per person, cash only- no change, and leaves every 30 minutes. If you need to find some cash change, stop in at crown and anchor to use their atm and grab a drink for the road!
