Our Property
Our property is 4 acres in total, with approximately 2 acres of bushland up behind the main house. The suburb Valdora was part of the original Yandina Cattle Run. Today you can still see a number of working farms in the area, mostly sugar cane and fruit harvesting farms.
In the 1850s Valdora was part of Yandina Cattle Run. The earliest selections were made after 1868 and cattle grazing was the earliest industry. Timber getting and saw milling followed along with fruit growing, some dairying and cane growing.
