This is the most fantastic day trip, 3 hours on a low boat through the 3 Killarney Lakes to Lord Brandons Cottage cafe, after some refreshments hike through the Gap of Dunloe which is amazing.

Torc Waterfall is a twenty minute walk from Muckross House or alternatively you can park at the waterfall car park.
For those who like to trek, it is possible to access Torc Mountain from here. This is a medium climb as there are steps the whole way to the whole way to the top of the mountain where you will look down on the Killarney lakes and Killarney town.
