Small aquarium with interesting exhibits. There is a trail leading up the hill from the Southeast corner of the parking lot. Great views of La Jolla, and swings hidden here and there in the trees.

In the shell shop you can pay $4 ($1 for kids) to take stairs through a 100 year old smuggler's tunnel into a cave on the water. There's nothing really down there, but still it's pretty neat.

Some of the best surf in California. Black's is a secluded and beautiful (nude) beach. You can walk here from La Jolla Shores at low tide only. Don't miss the cliff elevator, straight from James Bond.
