The most famous church in Colombia, situated on top of Monserrate. You can access the mountaintop church by cable car, teleferico or by foot. Climbing the hill is free and takes about an hour. I'd only recommend it if you're fairly fit though - the altitude and step climb aren't for the faint-hearted.

There are tons of little coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries and street food. Also, the flee market on a Sunday is huge - and great fun!

We are always surprised by the incredible array of food in this shop. It's the perfect place to pick up an edible gift for a friend back home. They also have a nice cafe!
