In the 1920s, the koala population of Victoria was sadly nearly made extinct - but as part of a conservation program, several koalas were relocated from Philip Island to Raymond Island in 1953, and the population has flourished and grown ever since.
Take a walk along the paths through the untouched, beautiful bushland and quiet streets, and keep your eye out for the sleepy marsupials in the trees above you - sometimes you can find up to 25 koalas on one visit!
This is a must-see for families and those visiting this beautiful area!
