For the past 90 years the Romney, Hythe
& Dymchurch Railway has been an integral part
of the landscape of the Romney Marsh. Known as
“Kent’s Mainline in Miniature”, our World Famous
one-third full size Steam & Diesel locomotives have
powered their way along the 13½ miles of track
from the Cinque Port town of Hythe, terminating in
Dungeness; a National Nature Reserve and one of
the largest shingle landscapes in the world. With 4
stations in between, all within walking distance of a
beach, our railway provides you with an opportunity
to explore this unique corner of Kent.

The Kitesurf Centre is a leading BKSA Kite School & one of just three National Training Centres.
Offering kitesurfing lessons, kiteboarding courses, powerkiting, kite buggying, kite landboarding & stand up paddleboarding.

The deer paddock is an attractive grassy area featuring trees such as the walnut and the variegated sycamore
the lake is a shady oasis for wildlife fringed with overhanging trees, where ducks can be found paddling around its edges
the valley is the largest area of the park, with alder trees running along its centre, marking the course of the Brockhill Stream as it wends its way down towards the nearby Royal Military Canal.
