Grab a ferry from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and make your way to a beautiful escape from the city. This is actually a string of islands that you can walk or bike. Ward's Island has the best beach. Hanlan's Point is clothing optional if that's your jam! Centre Island has a charming amusement park for the littles (or the bigs, depending on your attitude). The Scrambler is worth the trip.
