It is a little supermarket. A bit cramed , but it has everything.
Fresh fruit, vegetables, wine, beer, bakery, fish, meat, soap, pharmacy and even an ATM.... everything. !

Tiene de todo. Está un poco abarrotado pero encontrarás , vegetales y verduras frescos, carne, pescado, panadería, farmacia, abarrotes y hasta un cajero.
You can go by bus. Buses depart from Terminal Central de Autobuses del Norte. You can get there by Uber or by Metro (Line 1 Chapultepec-Balderas / Line 3 Balderas - La Raza / Line 5 La Raza - Autobuses del Norte). It takes around half an hour (either by subway or by Uber).

We also have another option: Jorge Maass (+52 1 55 3248 1486), a family friend, can drive you there and give you a very complete tour (he charges $1200 MXN, around $65 USD, including the lift).

You can get there by Uber (look for the address Embarcadero Nuevo Nativitas Xochimilco).

You could also have lucnh or dinner at San Angel Inns restaurant. It is next to the museum-house. The restaurant is usually booked, you need reservation.

You will see a lot of local families and couples. Also lots of foreigners that want to taste the mexican cuisine.
My favorites in season (April to july) . Escamoles - ant eggs. Believe me , they are absolutely delicious.
