My favourite restaurants
Here are some of my favourite places to eat in Fort William and surrounding area. I am a massive foodie so eat out and update this list regularly.
Great bar and restaurant 2 minutes walk from the house. They serve an all day breakfast till 4pm and also do a weekly bundle deal - you can see their latest deal on their facebook page. My favourite is their steak pie or macaroni cheese.

Best restaurant for seafood. Loch Linnhe cruises also leave from this venue which depart daily at 11am, 1pm and 3pm until the end of October and last 90 minutes.
There are also sunset evening cruises at 7.30pm on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 1st July to 31st August.

Crannog Seafood Restaurant
Best restaurant for seafood. Loch Linnhe cruises also leave from this venue which depart daily at 11am, 1pm and 3pm until the end of October and last 90 minutes.
There are also sunset evening cruises at 7.30pm on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 1st July to 31st August.
This is one of the places we eat at most often and is my partners favourite. My favourite is the chicken pakora, lamb biryani and chicken tikka massala. They also do takeaway.

Russell's restaurant at the Smiddy House is my favourite restaurant for finer dining. They offer a set menu only 2 course dinner at £34.50 or 3 courses at £40.00 per person.
During the winter months (November to March) their opening times are restricted.
March & April: Wednesday to Sunday for dinner.
May to October: Tuesday to Sunday for dinner.

Russell's restaurant at the Smiddy House is my favourite restaurant for finer dining. They offer a set menu only 2 course dinner at £34.50 or 3 courses at £40.00 per person.
During the winter months (November to March) their opening times are restricted.
March & April: Wednesday to Sunday for dinner.
May to October: Tuesday to Sunday for dinner.
The Tavern have a wide menu and something for everyone. I love their cullen skink (a traditional Scottish smoked haddock soup), haggis fritters and haggis neeps and tatties. You cam't come to Scotland and not try the traditional haggis.
They also do the best cocktails.

Best places for cocktails
There are not many places in Fort William that do cocktails but if like me you love a Espresso Martini here are the best places.
They have a large selection of cocktails and are always adding new ones to their specials board.
