The coastal trail is just as it sounds. A 7 mile trail along the Anchorage Coastline. Tons of places to stop and take pictures or take the bikes provided by us and go cruise the coastline. This trail is always busy as most Alaskans are pretty active either running, walking, biking, or practicing for cross country skiing.

This is a must see! During the late summer and fall months you can see the beluga whales in Cook Inlet. You can also catch surfers surfing our boretide. A quick 15-20 minute drive from our location.

This is a quick 1.5 mile hike just 20 minutes North of Anchorage that leads to a wonderful waterfall and creek. Well traveled and suitable for all audiences.

They are friends of ours and Matt (the owner) is a very qualified mountaineer and professionally trained in wilderness survival, first aid, and lots of different mountaineering practices. Previous guests have really enjoyed these hikes and we are the only location to offer door to door service for Hike Alaska!

This grocery shop, bakery, and coffee shop is just a 3-4 minute walk from our place and has a great selection of groceries and food. Laroma bakery makes excellent bread and treats as well and is located inside.

Sullivan’s is a fine dining establishment known for their steak dinners. They have an excellent bar area that has live music typically evenings and weekends.

This is one of our favorites! Theater pub with a restaurant attached. Great beer, great food, and not to fancy of a place where you need suit and tie. T-shirt and jeans works just fine here🤗
