The name of the place is Kohalik - "Local" and it is as local as it gets. It's ca 10 min walk from the apartment and has very good food and nice feel of grandma's house.

Crowded at summer time, a true christmas fairy tale at winter. If you avoid the main streets and the Town Hall Square, the Old Town has really nice vibe and I'm sure you will find some nice gems.

Go before it's demolished or reconstructed into something new. It's a massive "cultural house" that was built by the Soviet authorities for 1980 Olympics. Climb to the roof that has some of the best sea views in town and enjoy a few drinks. The place is a facinating piece of brutalist architecture.
