Scenic views of the Long Island Sound and Charles Island. Entrance is free to visitors with plenty of parking. Be sure to visit Leo at the Greek Spot nearby for some great food!

This is one of the oldest and most prolific natural history museums in the world. Founded in 1866 it contains the Great Hall of Dinosaurs, multiple exhibits dedicated to human and mammal evolution, wildlife dioramas, Egyptian artifacts, birds, minerals and Native American displays. There are hands on exhibits for the kids and is located in a beautiful area of New Haven right in the Yale University grounds.
