No matter the season, we encourage everyone we know to check out the falls. The winter makes the stairs and trails a bit more treacherous, but it's worth the slipping and sliding to get the best views. Plus, you can hike behind the falls if it's frozen enough. Then in the summer, there are some sweet spots to swim. It feels like you are in a whole other world even though you are minutes from the city.

Can Can Wonderland is rather difficult to describe. There is a crazy mini golf course and all sorts of beer and arcade games. You will have to see this place in person to understand how unique it is. It's a great place for adults or families!

I am an ice cream fanatic, so I make it a point to hit up all of the ice cream shops regularly. I have included some of my favorites!
Nelson's has a wide array of flavors and is a great deal. You only need to get the kid sized cup or cone because it is MASSIVE. There is also an aggressive ice cream eating challenge. The Lumberjack is not for the timid. Five softball-sized scoops of any flavor arrangement and choice of toppings, allows for countless combinations. Here is the best part… if you finish this goliath alone, your picture will be enshrined on Nelson’s “Wall of fame”.
