Owned by Howard Hughes and opened in 1931. It became famous on 11/22/1963 when Lee Harvey was apprehended by police. Now you can enjoy dinner and classic cocktails, Indie movies, documentaries, classic films, as well as first run movies or you can check it out for a personal event location.

Great Place for Everyone
My favorite thing about the Dallas Zoo is the animals always seem happy. It has great shows, zoo food standards, and a monorail ride that is very educational. Don't miss the Simmons Hippo Outpost or the Gorilla Exhibit that is home to some of the most endangered Gorilla's and two new"ish" babies born back to back in 2019. They are certainly happy!
