On heaton road, in walking distance of our place. Friendly staff, this restaurant has a great vibe. Opened in 1999! Take your own wine is a bonus ......But the big bonus is the food. Absolutely amazing. We where there in March 24 & the punjabi lamb achari literally melted in our mouths, and punjabi chicken was fabulous. Pilau rice cooked to perfection and a garlic nan dripping in garlic goodness. This restaurant is a hidden gem and a MUST Try. Trust me!!

Outdoors - Heaton Park

Heaton Road. The park is just up at the top of our street and across the road. The park is great for a lone walk, dog walk or with the full family. Theres a cheap Italian restaurant in the park so you can get a quick meal. The park has a lovely border next to the bowling green and still has Victorian character to its planting. Great place for a picnic & a game of football. Play park area, afternoon bowls etc.
