Kayak over or take the city boat (due to covid not currently running) across....in the summer. It’s just minutes away from us. Boblo Island” was once an amusement park in the 80’s and 90’s. It’s now home to local residents and provides great sightseeing trails, private beaches, marina, local restaurant with gorgeous patio views, ice cream shop and more! The restaurant and ice cream shop are open Thursday - Sunday. Ride the short 5 min ferry from Amherstburg to the island! Bring $10 cash for the Ferry ride. It covers there and back.
