This restored property is a must see on my list! It was originally built as a personal waterfowl hunting property for a man and his wife. Its an incredibly old piece of history and the little town surrounding it matches its charm. You can spend an entire afternoon here! The sunsets are amazing on this side of the road.

Pirates Cove is the home of many large off shore fishing boats. Between 3pm and sunset, you can watch boats coming in with the fish they caught! The seafood here is to die for! A little on the pricey side but it is sure worth the money! There is a tiki bar here also, which usually has live bands!

The experience is in the name. This place is amazing for sunsets over the Currituck Sound. Get there early because they get crowded. The drive from this house is 23 min with no traffic.

We go to Millers for breakfast usually. Its easy to get in. Nothing special on the menu I recommend but if your not in the mood to cook for breakfast...this is close by, lots of parking and great for families.
