Good places to see
Very nice little village to walk by the bay. There are lots of little stores for shopping and also you can find restaurants to eat there. I love walking by the water.
Seaport Village

This is my most favorite hiking place in SD. Take the beach trail and then walk by the beach. Its not too far from the nude beach as well if you are interested. You would need to walk about 20-30 min more towards south to get there though.
Torrey Pines State Beach
Very nice place to go and spend time by the beach. Walk or bike on the boardwalk and get some fresh air. Also a good surfing destination.
