The Aventine Basement, the gardens and the stairway that link the terrace of the Giardino degli Aranci to the Aventine riverfront is back to its former glory from July 2017. From sunrise to sunset it will therefore be possible to have a walk. It is for free. My tip is to get there from the entrance in Lungotevere Aventino.

Not to miss: Theatre of Marcellus (11 b.C) where you can listen to classic music concert and Il Giardino Romano to taste the typical Jewish-Roman recipes.
