Heaters are set up outside so eating out goes late into the fall. It is a little on the pricey side, but remember you are on vacation and variety is the spice of life!

A quiet little pond that was, at one time, used to get ice blocks for ice boxes, before refrigerators! While on your rides you may see turtles, fish, blue heron, muskrats, ducks, and if you are really lucky a Bald Eagle!

Once you have taught your kids how to fish you are all set to take on any stream in the Catskills - and there are many. Fishing is a great sport. The season on fishing is April 1 - October 31.

The ticks in this area can be ridiculous!
Please check yourself and your kids after being outside, and before you go to bed. My grandson had 13 ticks on him when he came back from a hike this summer!
