The local library is a gem! They recently refurbished it and it now has nice sofas and desks. I sometimes come here late at night before it closes to read. Check the opening hours, you can access it early/late if you have a library card.

This is Oslo's new library (2020) and we are really proud of it! It is so nice with 5 floors of books and nice reading/working spots. It's quite popular, so be early! This was also the first construction site I worked on as an engineer, so it's extra special to me.

The House of Dance has a really really nice cafe/bar. It's a hidden secret that this is a nice work/hangout spot. The building is an old factory building, and the café part is sort of a glass box hanging above the river (Akerselva). It's beautiful all year, but especially in the summer.

I come here way too often to work, mostly because they have the best cinnamon rolls in town, but also because it's a really cozy place. Sometimes they lit the fireplace.
