Inaugurated on April 1, 1867 during the last years of the reign of Napoleon III, it was created by engineer Adolphe Alphand. This English-style garden imitates a mountain landscape: rocks, cliffs, torrents, waterfalls, grotto, mountain pastures, belvederes.
