This is called the Southport Seaway - in high seas it can be quite spectacular - big waves. Watch boats coming and going. Kiosk has great crab sandwiches! Take a walk out to the lighthouse at the end.

OMG!!! you should see this.....why not park at Marina Mirage next door and go and indulge in a cocktail in the foyer - the décor is divine. High Tea, or a drink won't kill the budget.
