Hiking
This is one of our favorite hikes. We prefer parking in the upper lot (get there before 10am in the summer). It’s about a two mile hike to a great water hole for swimming and cliff jumping. The water is very cold, but it’s wonderful!
Make sure to get there before 10am for parking! Bring some lunch and enjoy a beautiful spot to spend a few hours.

This is a great 2.6 mile loop with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountain front, Little Belts, Big Belts, Highwood Mountain and Square Butte. Hike early to avoid any tattle snake sightings. And enjoy the history!
