It doesn't matter if you haven't touched a basketball for more than 30 years or if you've ever played any organized basketball of any kind; if you are from Indiana, then, you are a Hoosier! Just like those from China are referred to as Chinese and the citizens of the USA are known as Americans; those who are from Indiana are Hoosiers.
While you are here in Greenville, go see the legendary history of many Indiana Basketball Greats, from Steve Alford, Scott Skiles, Greg Oden, and George McGinnis to "The Big Dog" Glenn Robinson, "The Big O" Oscar Robertson, to another all-time great in "Larry Legend" Larry Bird ["The Hick from French Lick"]. The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame is only an hour drive from my place, here, in Greenville, Ohio.

The University of Findlay sits in the city that bears its name: Findlay.
Findlay, Ohio is the county seat of Hancock County located about 45 minutes south of Toledo, as well as, approximately 2 hours from Dayton or Columbus. This university is affiliated with the General Conference Churches of God and is the former denominational headquarters of the GCCG. In fact, on the campus of UF is the George Weinbrenner Auditorium. Weinbrenner is the founder of the General Conference Churches of God movement which he initiated in the state capitol of Pennsylvania (Harrisburg).
While, UF no longer houses the denomination's offices; at times, it is the host site for GCCG's Annual Meetings. The campus of the University of Findlay is 1.5-1.75 hours northeast of my place.

University of FindlayThe University of Findlay sits in the city that bears its name: Findlay.

Originally, ONU was known as the Northwestern Ohio Normal School (1871-1885) and, later, as the Ohio Normal University (1885-1903) before taking on its current name.
ONU has on site the T.J. Smull College of Engineering, the Claude W. Pettit College of Law, as well as, the Raabe College of Pharmacy, the Dicke College of Business Administration, and the Getty College of Arts & Sciences. In addition, on the ONU campus in Ada, there's the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies which offers a host of different study programs that one can obtain credit for while earning a degree in a separate, yet, related field of study. Plus, there on ONU's Campus is ICAPP. Through the Institute for Civics and Public Policy you can earn college credits in the fields of Politics, Broadcasting, and more.

Take Rt.49 the fourth exit past I-75 and follow that for approximately 25 miles to US Rt. 127. Take the exit ramp for 127 Northbound and go approximately 3.5 to 4 miles and turn left onto Kruckenberg Road.
Then, from there, you're just 1.25-1.5 miles from reaching my place. My place is nestled in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood which is, both, quaint and peaceful.

Wittenberg University is a historic university which is affiliated with the Lutheran Church whose founder is the esteemed German Theologian, Martin Luther. However, this higher education institution was actually chartered by Ezra Keller and a group of pastors who had severed their ties with the German Church. In turn, they created the English Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Ohio. Together, in 1842, the leadership of this newly formed synod voted unanimously to establish a theological and literary institution that would serve the educational and cultural needs of new immigrants and new communities. Hence, in 1845, the new Wittenberg University was established.
Today, Wittenberg University, offers its students a wide array of programs and majors to complete their studies. In addition, it provides its students with opportunities to study abroad and to learn firsthand what it's like to live in other parts of the world by experiencing the culture. Thus, these students obtain a better understanding, a stronger grasp, of the history and the traditions of citizens who live across the globe where life can be, and often is, much different. Together. through books, via class and research studies, and life experience the students of Wittenberg University are better prepared for life no matter what field of work they enter into or what particular part of the world their life work leads them to.

The minor leagues showcase a lot of raw talent that is fueled by an intense passion and desire. These players aren't playing for that BIG Contract. At this point, they are simply playing to get promoted to AA and AAA, in hopes, that they'll receive that call to debut in the major leagues!
These players and ball clubs are less political and more about giving it their all. Being, they haven't made it to the major leagues, they cannot afford to rest on their laurels or take a day off.
When they are penciled into the starting lineup or called upon to step in as a pinch hitter or a pinch runner, they are an All Out, "Game's On" Mentality.

If you are an Outer Space Enthusiast or, simply, an Infectious Learner who is intrigued by discovery; then, you really should make it a point to visit the Armstrong Air and Space Museum. The AASM is named after the man credited as being the first to walk on the moon: Neil Armstrong.
