Amazing restaurant in a beautiful old house with grass roof that serves delicious small plates (they are quite big though and 2 plates are usually enough for 1 person). Not so expensive compared to many other restaurants in Iceland if you only have 2 plates but not cheap though.

The best brunch buffet in town! Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 -15. The price 3600 isk per person and included is very good food, coffee, deserts and mimosas. Also good for other meals. The interior is very nice and it is located in Gardabaer. Usually a reservation is needed at least for the brunch.

Coffee house by the harbour in Hafnarfjordur the next town to Gardabaer. Really nice interior and view and they have amazing cinnamon buns and other bakery stuff. They also serve soup of the day.
