A wonderful place for a picnic or bbq. Park the car on West Head Rd and walk down - It's a bit of a trek, but well worth the effort. The basin can also be accessed by boat or ferry from Palm Beach. It has a wonderful shady beach, great for families with young children. Plenty of local wildlife and beautiful scenery.
