An hour hike from Les Bossons or a short drive. The views from the parc are amazing and you can see the animals - Chamois, bouquetin etc in their natural habitat and learn alot about them from the staff. There is a great restaurant, run by Jérôme's cousin.

The main bus station is in Chamonix Sud near the Aiguille du Midi cable car - to get from the apartment to and from town you can get either the O1 bus to Les Montquarts or the O2 bus to Les Tissières. The flat is walking distance from the train station in Les Bossons.
