One bus stop from my place on the 100 airlink bus. Edinburgh zoo is a great day out. It is set on Corstorphine Hill so is a steep climb. But if you have the energy the view from the top is pretty stunning. And you will see some amazing animals. My kids love the squirrel monkeys :-)

A 10 minute drive from my place. Crammond Beach is really beautiful. Take a walk out to Crammond Island when the tide is out or a stroll along by the riverside. Lots of lovely coffee spot and bars. Kids will love this place too.
