A half-mile north of our place is an entrance to the Atlanta Beltline-- a converted rail line that's now a walking/biking path through some of Atlanta's best neighborhoods. This section begins in Krog Street Tunnel, which always features lots of graffiti and murals. To follow the beltline, continue across the street when you exit the tunnel, turning left to stay on the path that winds between the apartment buildings. If you walk to the end of the path (about 3 miles), you'll reach Atlanta's biggest green space- Piedmont Park. Along the way, you'll encounter restaurants, a brewery, bars, and cool street art, as well as Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market- open-concept markets in old industrial spaces. (15 minute walk)
