Then take a less than 5 minute drive to one of the MANY neighborly boutiques and cafés in the old town of Yucca Valley. Mosey back to the house to catch the sherbet sunset as you make that desert fire in our fire-pit. There’s your perfect day in the contemporary cowboy Casita.

We wanted the outside landscape to keep you on your toes while the inside of the home sweeps you off your feet in peace and comfort.

Josh Cottage at 29P

The year was 1946 and somebody in Twentynine Palms had the right idea--to build an adorable Spanish bungalow that simply oozed "romantic getaway to the desert," a place to take in the fresh air, the stillness at night and the stars. "Josh" as he is affectionately known, along with his partner "Tam" [an almost identical twin] is an updated version of that bungalow built so long ago. Modern in amenities, but pioneer in spirit, Josh is awaiting some special guests.

Located in Water Canyon just 2 miles from the famous Pappy and Harriets and Pioneertown's Mane St. Majestic views of the Sawtooth Mountains from every angle, a short drive to the nearest National Monument -Joshua Tree Park (Black Rock) entrance, and the Pioneertown Mountain Preserve offering plenty of hiking trails.
