This newly built and stylish Snells Beach apartment offers a tranquil and relaxing setting for your well-earned break. Nestled just across the road from the beach, with its own covered outdoor area and private entrance, you can kick back and relax while gazing at the view of Kawau Bay right in front of you. Wander along the beach then fall asleep with the gentle sound of the waves and bird calls. The Matakana Coast has so much to offer and you'll enjoy exploring the beaches, vineyards and cafes.

The Store | Matakana

Sept 25 | The store has just had some upgrades to make your stay more comfortable while still in keeping with an upcycled rustic shed on a rural property 3km from Matakana - ply interior, concrete floors covered with jute rugs and kilims, and a covered outdoor space to relax and bbq. A rustic country theme which will not suit guests wanting new and modern. Our linen bedding, hand loomed cotton towels, handmade ceramics and Real World products add some luxury. We have Starlink to enjoy Netflix

30 steps to the beach

60 minutes from CBD Auckland, spacious apartment for 1 or a couple with child on request (extra bed sofa in lounge), attached to our home. Quiet cul de sac with own driveway, few steps from beach. Walking distance to Dairy, Take Aways, restaurants, cafe, new 4Square, Pharmacy and Medical Centre etc. Short drive to surrounding beaches, vineyards, golf/tennis, regional and sculpture parks and 10 minutes to Warkworth, Matakana, weekend markets, cinema and further to Omaha, Leigh and Goat Island

By the sea - Snells Beach

Imagine waking up beside a beachfront grass reserve with short walk <50 metres to the sea shore of Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is a flat beach and tide retreats out quite a way. This ground floor apartment is double glazed and offers comfortable accommodation. please note that if 2 people are staying and wish to use both bedrooms then an additional fee ($40) is charged for linen and 2nd bathroom use Nearby are a multitude of attractions and eateries. Sorry preschoolers/infants not accepted.

Braemar Cottage - new, peaceful, stunning views!

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

Tawharanui 890 Studio.

This is a comfortable,small fully contained stand alone Studio in a farm setting.Situated nearby to beautiful beaches, and the Tawharanui Regional Park where you can take bush walks and trails.On dusk you are able to spot kiwi in the Regional Park, which is very special.If you are attending a Wedding here in Tawharanui this is a perfect location being so very close to the Venue.Ideal for cyclists also as there is a large barn where you can leave your bikes securely and dry.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

Omakana Cabin – Scenic Farm Stay w/ Sleepout

Wake up in a world of serenity at our guest-favorite Cabin with a new sleepout - perfect for extra guests or remote work. Nestled on a scenic farm between Matakana and Omaha Beach, enjoy a king bed in the main cabin, queen bed and desk in the sleepout, tasteful decor, and modern amenities. 66D is a brand new light cosy studio - relaxing and peaceful space! The studio is quiet and private, is attached to the main home...luxury decor with a comfy queen size bed, fully stocked kitchenette, a private separate entrance and car park. Suitable for couples and individuals. Outside seating on deck, nice glass of wine...perfect! A pleasant 3 min stroll to cinemas, cafes, bar and markets and 45 min drive from Auckland CBD.

The Little Guest House, Matakana

The little guest house is warm, clean and sunny. Enjoy the comfy queen bed and fresh cotton linens. Set in a convenient location to enjoy all that Matakana and it’s surrounds has to offer, with easy parking and access. Wake up to birdsong and listen to the Tui's during the day.
