The tracks that pass the property and lead into the scenic surroundings provide ample opportunities for hiking/biking, and the beautiful beaches of the Alentejan Coast are a short drive away.

Our home is an agricultural cottage renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

The house is a traditional Alentejo countryside house, restored with care and respect of its original spaces materials and atmosphere. The whole house is whitewashed. Floor is paved with handmade clay blocks. The large buttresses anchor the house to the ground and tradition. Spaces are generous in dimension, light and ambience. The 30 hectars property offers complete seclusion and silence. The landscapes is caractherized by the cork tree forest, wide views, and a long pool.
