Thank you for your interest in The Cozy Lookout Tower! Our unique vacation home is really a destination location rather than just a place to stay while you explore the area. Many of our guests are repeat guests that use our home as a place to recharge, relax, cook, read, talk, play games and connect with that special someone. There are some lovely hikes in the area, we encourage you to bring your dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by taking some hikes then returning for a soak in the tub!

Listen to the Mckenzie River rapids while osprey & eagle soar above. This unique & cozy tiny cabin is right on the banks of the Mckenzie River! Walking distance to local pub, general store & grill in the tiny town of Mckenzie Bridge. 5 minutes to Tokatee Golf Course. 15 min drive east or west to Belknap or Cougar Hotsprings. A stretch more to Proxy, Sahalie & Koosah waterfalls, Blue Pool, or Hoodoo Ski Area. Trails, mountain biking, golf, snow shoes, skiing, rafting, fishing - adventure awaits!

Romantic Farmhouse near Mt. Bachelor

Relax at a peaceful farmhouse for a romantic weekend, or take your time exploring Bend with friends. Baltzor Farm and Guesthouse is fewer than 2 miles from some of Bend's amazing breweries and restaurants. Smith Rock and Mt. Bachelor are both within 30 minutes of the guesthouse. Catch a concert, float the Deschutes, or go on a bike ride. Our relaxing farmhouse has rustic, old-world charm with all of the modern amenities, including a soaking tub, waterfall showerhead, soft linens, and Starlink.

Koosah Cabin near Hoodoo, Hot Springs, & Trails

Private, and tucked away from the crowds, quiet, comfortable cabin in the woods, our Koosah Cabin is the perfect base camp for 2 to 3 people as you explore all the McKenzie River has to offer. Our property is nestled in the woods, just far enough off the highway that all you can hear is the sound of gentle rushing water. Koosah is almost identical to Tamolitch Cabin. We welcome people from all backgrounds and hope to share with you our love of the outdoors and our beautiful place in the woods!

The McKenzie House sits on 2.5 private, quiet acres on the majestic McKenzie River, a half-mile walk from Loloma Lodge. A paradise for fly fishermen, cyclists, hikers, & skiers. Enjoy a riverfront sauna, hot outdoor shower, hot tub, & safe, easy river access. BBQ on the riverfront deck, picnic by the water or meadow, wander the woods, pick blackberries. Enjoy volleyball or horseshoes, campfire s'mores, hammock naps, swinging over the river, catching fish right in front of the deck, and more.

McKenzie Bridge River House near Sahalie Falls

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Prepare to be blown away by the astounding sunrises , sunsets and awesome moonrises you will enjoy at the Pointe of Blessing. We feel our canyon perch is a gift from God too good to keep to ourselves. Our cozy home sits atop an outcropping of rock which juts out from the canyon rim affording us unobstructed views up and down the length of the Crooked River Canyon. We overlook several holes of the Crooked River Ranch golf course and Smith Rock is visible in the distance to the South.

Cabin on The Rim

Take it easy at this unique and private getaway. This off the grid studio cabin is located just 10 minutes from Smith Rock and 10 minutes from Lake Billy Chinook. It is positioned on the edge of the Crooked River Gorge with breathtaking views of the canyon. Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly. Enjoy a sunset with full cascade Mountain View’s, green pastures, and grazing horses.

Canyon House, Crooked River Ranch

Canyon House sits on the edge of the Deschutes River canyon and has a beautiful and scenic view of 11 mountains and peaks. Your home is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath 1450 sf manufactured home. It is attached to ours and Donna and I live on site family. Your privacy is my first rule and quiet is my second. Yet, you may see me watering plants or checking on the Spa. We are open for a 1 night minimum. Checkout time is strict to allow for cleaning and sanitizing on same day check ins.

McKenzie Riverfront-w/Hottub/woodstove+wood

Come to the McKenzie River and stay at our relaxing, fully furnished home with 3 bedrooms: including 2 master bedrooms with 1 king and 2 queen sized beds. This home sits on the river just steps away from the water and is centrally located near many outdoor attractions. The McKenzie River is a hot spot for fishing and rafting that our home sits right on the edge of. Adventure by day and sleep to the comfort of the river sounds by night.
