There’s direct access to the shoreline, but please note: the path is natural and used at your own risk. Shore has oysters, so footwear is essential. Our property is a private & homey spot for those craving a taste of the country but still want to be close to amenities of Pictou. New updates to the unit include new bedroom flooring, new beds, & new refrigerator. Animals on property! Golden Retrievers, chickens, ducks, bunny rabbit & cats. 5-10 min drive to: Pictou, Sobeys, beach, Caribou-PEI Ferry, walk/bike trail. *Please note the 2nd bedroom is ONLY accessible through the first bedroom. Come explore the 25 acre wooded property in Riverton with hundreds of feet of river front. The river offers wonderful swimming and fishing opportunities with three great salmon holes within a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is a work of art and has all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. It is a 5 minute hike to access the cabin.

Miracles on Polly - Memory Lane Cabin

Inspired by Mother Goose, or the figures one holds dear. A place for her to rest after a long fairy tale journey. A place to remember and cherish her mementos and treasures she has collected along the way. A cabin and space that embraces both creativity and comfort. Filled with antiques and refurbished furniture, pianos, and organs. This is our third cabin we have installed on our four acre property. There is an exclusive 6 person hot tub off the veranda and the sauna is only steps away.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners.
