This charming home is beautifully decorated in classic design, with a beautiful lake view to make it cozy and comfortable. Located in Fairmont, Minnesota, this home is just steps away from a large park with public fishing, a play area and shelter. There is also a band shell in the park, where performers play amazing renditions of music occasionally. Blocks away, There is downtown dining, a public boat ramp, swimming beach, boat rental, fine dining, a bar, and a one-mile away biking trail.

Welcome to a backyard getaway that will drop your mouth in awe. Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

After a day on the water, relax and watch the sunset from the back patio or hit up the near by restaurants for some live music!

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. No kitchen. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally (no AC needed). It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

Quite-End of the Road Suite-Lower Level

Modestly decorated with eclectic treasures. Our guest suite is great for brewery, antique or local sports enthusiasts or a couples weekend or solo adventurers getaway. Coded access gives you the opportunity to come and go at your leisure. Inside is warm and inviting with a comfy queen bed, kitchen and dining area and lake views. Ideal for couples, small families or solo travelers. We have two kayaks to explore the lake and creek inlets. Wi-Fi included. Come enjoy the calm.

City of Lakes Loft

Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes! Cleaning fee included in the nightly rate.

The Grainery

The Grainery started off as just that, an old grainery on the family farm. It was moved, added onto and recreated into a unique vacation rental nestled along the woods of the Sleepy Eye Creek. Location offers scenic views, access to a fire pit, hammock and patio with grill. Located just outside of Sleepy Eye, MN. Not far from New Ulm, MN.
