川と森に囲まれた、1日1組限定の一棟貸し古民家。 ここでは、音・火・水・星に包まれながら、時間そのものを楽しむ滞在ができます。 音楽室にはグランドピアノやドラム、ギター、ベース。 ピザ窯体験(別料金)では本格ナポリピザを焼き、夜はBBQと焚き火の火を囲みながら、満天の星と天の川を眺める。 夏はすぐそばの川で水遊び、テントサウナ（別料金)で自然の中にととのうこともできます。 元カフェのフルキッチンでみんなで料理をしたり、図書室で静かに読書をしたり、 それぞれの“好きな時間”を自由に過ごせます。 お風呂は信楽焼の陶器の浴槽。 薪で焚く火のぬくもりと、ヒノキの香りに包まれながら、心と体をゆっくりほどいてください。 ホテルではなく、誰にも邪魔されない「自分たちの場所」で過ごす。 そんな贅沢な時間をどうぞ。 最寄駅までの送迎もあり。 幾つかのオプションがありますのでお伝えしておきます。 BBQセット、炭と網、準備片付け込みで4,000円 テントサウナ　薪代込みで5,000円 本格的ピザ窯レンタピザ焼き体験5,000円 (ピザは生地とモッツァレラとバジルがついて一枚800円別売りです)

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Azalea House on Mt. Hiei, Kyoto

Azalea House is on the slope of Mt. Hiei, a world-heritage. To get there, drive 20 min. from Kyoto-Higashi exit on Meishin. Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. Bus service drastically reduced since Covid-19. Free parking space. Easy access to both Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Rich in nature. Completely detached, full privacy, handy & cozy like home. Self-cooking is available.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

This is a place to step away from busy travel and enjoy a calm stay. At night, the area becomes very dark and stars can be seen on clear days. Brew coffee and relax in the silence. Freshly roasted coffee beans and brewing tools are provided. Close to Lake Biwa and nature. Best suited for 2–3 guests seeking a peaceful stay. Not for parties.

This guesthouse is a renovated 120-year-old traditional Japanese house located in the merchant town of Omi Hino, overlooking Mt. Watamuki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture, with the concept of "nostalgic yet new." The townscape of Hino itself is somehow nostalgic and calming. "Watamukiyama Village" was born in a corner of this town in 2019. Accommodation is limited to one group at a time, and the accommodation fee starts from the rate for two people.

It is located near Hachiman Bori, the most famous attraction in Omi Hachiman, right next to the Hachiman Mountain, 170 meters walk from the bus stop, and 7 minutes by bus from Omi Hachiman JR Station. Nearby are the well-known attractions of Hachimanbori, Nishino Lake, Chomeiji Temple, Himu Hachimangu Shrine, Hachimanzan Castle, Azuchi Castle, the legendary Japanese sweets factory 'Taneya' and the Internet celebrity attraction named 'La Collina'.
