Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

Gentle slope leads to private beach and dock where you can tie up your own boat. Boat rentals and public boat launch 2 mi. away at Parkway Marina. 3 levels of deck seating w/ beautiful lake views. King size bed, 2 twins in loft, 1 full bed in each lower level bedroom. 1 queen sofa bed in lower level TV room.

Our house is located on the wonderful Smith Mountain Lake. The community around the house gives more than just a place to vacation, it also provides a place to cherish. Whether you want to enjoy scenic views, get wet in the water, or just enjoy good music and great people, our house allows you to do it all! Kayaks and paddleboards for use during stay. **Max 8 guests per local STR rules and all vehicles, boat trailers, etc must be on property, no street parking allowed. **
