The river has heavy tidal flow (no river use from home). The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

kick off your shoes rest yourself and make this your first choice to get away on holiday! the home is peaking out from a forest on a hill where you can spot an eagles nest , a pasture of cattle, and an everchanging wispy cloud formation sweeping on a bending river that skirts the small town. South Bend has amenities to keep a family entertained with a park and baseball diamond down the hill , a couple local breweries nearby . a golf course , a few small fishing holes , oysters/clams and more.

Oceans Edge Cottage: New Remodel/Walk to Beach/Pet

We’ve upgraded our cottage but it still has that cozy cabin feel that guests love. Private trail across street is a 5 min. walk to the beach. Large backyard with firepit, horseshoes & chairs. Enjoy a break with an evening fire or Netflix movie (Roku smart TV). Log wood/open beams interior with AC/Heat from new mini-split. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults/3-4 children. Propane grill, crab pots, clam guns, board games, patio set, beach chairs/towels/blanket, bikes and kids sand toys onsite.

The Oysterville Guesthouse

The Oysterville Guesthouse is located at the tip of the Long Beach Peninsula in the historic 1854 village of Oysterville Washington. The guesthouse has 3 bedrooms and one bath, a loft with a view of Willapa Bay and a large back garden area with a fire pit and barbecue along with herbs and berries for your use. The Guesthouse overlooks a beautiful meadow that is often visited by deer, elk, heron and eagles. Both the beach and Leadbetter are 5 minute drives from Oysterville.
