Our beachfront home is good for families and pets, with open plan, private bedrooms and an enclosed deck. The beach is perfect for cookouts, walking and exploring. We are nestled down a long gravel drive with quiet neighbors. The main floor bedroom (queen bed) accesses a screened sitting area. The downstairs bedroom (walkout basement) has twin beds and futon chair (single). We are 5 miles from the village, 2.5 miles from Acadia Visitor Center, and .5 miles from an Explorer stop.

Ship builders home close to everything

This house was built by my grandfather and his father in the 1930s. My grandfather worked his entire life for a local yacht yard and you get that feel living in the space. Conveniently located on a quiet side street in downtown Southwest Harbor, it has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (queen/double) and one full bath. Amenities include cable tv and wifi, but my husband and I think the best amenity is sitting on the back deck and enjoying the sounds of the seasons.
