Take your time with al fresco breakfasts upon the villa’s charming sea view balcony, basking in the soft morning light. Spend leisurely days sun bathing aside the crystal clear infinity pool, surrounded by impeccably kept gardens. As the sun sets gracefully over the ocean horizon, gather under the vine-topped pergola and let the evening’s festivities begin. After dinner, retire to the patio hot tub with a sparkling glass of champagne for a luxurious moonlit soiree. A diverse mix of traditional and modern design, Villa Split possesses a remarkable and unique interior. A grand, colonial library appears lifted from a film set. You won’t be able to resist a photo opportunity in the room’s swivel chair, behind the stately antique desk. There’s ample space in the villa to cook, dine and relax – it doubles up on modern kitchens, comfortable lounges and dining areas, all rich in natural light.  Chose from one of the five double bedrooms, depending on your mood. Go for the opulence of the ‘gold room’, the romance of the ‘red room’, or the peaceful simplicity of the three ‘white rooms’.  From four of the rooms, you can greet the day from your private terrace – two gaze over treetops to the Adriatic Sea, while the others observe the villa’s pretty winter garden. Enjoy quirky features in each of the five bathrooms: space age lighting, old fashioned rocking chairs, and pebble shaped sinks all lend the bathrooms an eclectic, fun feel. Split’s Marjan Forest Park lies just to the west. Meander along the coast and through the forest’s myriad of shaded paths. Hike up to the park’s viewpoint, offering panoramic vistas over classic Dalmatian terracotta rooftops. Head to the old town, take a seat in a bustling café in the square and admire the magnificent architecture as you enjoy a refreshing ‘gelato’. Villa Paradise

Please note that this home is in close proximity to an ongoing construction project. Find inspiration on the coast of Dalmatia at Villa Paradise. From its setting in the exclusive oceanfront Golden complex on the island of Čiovo, this Croatia vacation rental looks out over pebble beach and sparkling seas to the mountains and the city of Split. Its four bedrooms can accommodate up to eight guests on an idyllic family holiday or a picture-perfect getaway with friends. Start each day with a coffee at the al-fresco dining area overlooking the water, take a dip in the swimming pool or hot tub, while away the afternoon on a lounger on the sunny terrace and finish the day with dinner from the barbecue, followed by a show on the satellite TV or a catch-up over Wi-Fi. Guests of Villa Paradise are also welcome to use a shared gym, and accessories such as a baby cot and high chair are available on request. The villa’s bright, modern interiors have equally lovely views through the wide glass doors to the terrace. At the heart of the home is an open-concept L-shaped great room, with a living and dining area on one side and a fully equipped kitchen on the other. Villa Paradise has two bedrooms with king beds and private en-suite bathrooms, and two bedrooms with king beds that share access to a hall bathroom. All four bedrooms have TVs and air conditioning, and three of the four boast sea views. A stay at the villa gives you the luxury of simply walking down to the pebble beach just in front of the villa, or making the 10-minute walk to Slatine Beach.
