Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. We also have a very nice campertrailer with 1 full sized bed, 1 queen sized bed. 2 bunks and bath that is avialable seasonaly.

This modest cottage is located on a working farm at Barry Corner, where the Barry family lived from 1864-1881. Anna Barry was the teacher of Laura Ingalls Wilder. The farm is just up the hill from Pepin, and a short distance from Stockholm, Maiden Rock, and Plum City. Bluff Cottage Overlooking Lake Pepin Compact and beautiful, this modern cottage is situated on 8 acres on a bluff overlooking Lake Pepin in the driftless area of Wisconsin. The house is mostly windows, with spectacular views of the sunrise, the sunset, Lake Pepin and the Milky Way. House has all the amenities, and sleeps four, plus a wood-burning sauna.

Spacious Country Studio/Loft

Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.

Historic home with second floor private entrance

Second floor access only with private entrance. 4 bedrooms, one bathroom and a living room. No kitchen. Clean and quaint. We operate a coffee shop on the lower floor of the house on seasonal weekends so expect light noise after 7am (shop opens at 8 am) but come down for a complimentary coffee or tea and a homemade scone Saturday and Sunday morning.
