The Cardinal Getaway is nestled in the heart of downtown Pilot Mtn. You can overlook local events from the patio or windows. You can walk to local shops and restaurants. If it's the outdoors, you crave you are just minutes away from the iconic Pilot Mountain as well as other outdoor activities. You will be staying in a historic building that has been renovated into a beautiful two-bedroom loft style apartment. It has a full bath, living room, kitchen, dining, laundry & new Mattress as of 2025.

A Mount Pilot Retreat

Nestled at the base of Pilot Mountain lies a quaint log cabin. On a cold winter's night, cozy up to the warm woodstove or sit outside & enjoy a beautiful fall sunset. It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, there is always something to do. Take time to visit Andy Griffith's hometown of Mayberry (Mount Airy), visit one of our local wineries, go hiking at Pilot Mountain State Park or Hanging Rock State Park, or canoe the Yadkin River. At the end of the day, relax on the porch swing!

It has a view of Skull Camp mountain and you can swing on the front porch. Conviently located close to Raven Knob Scout Camp. Close to a stocked trout river, Fisher River. Located within minutes of I-77 and I-74. Local attractions include Mayberry, RFD and Pilot Mountain. Located 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway also.

The SheShed

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.

Tiny Cabin at Barter Farms

Enjoy tiny living in Barter Farms guest cabin located on a humble 5 acre parcel 8 miles outside of Elkin, North Carolina. Experience an active regenerative farm that raises a market garden, layer hens, meat chickens and turkeys, beef, and pork. The farm is also home to a cottage bakery. Goods available for purchase. During your visit you'll meet a few friendly animals, a curious pup or a free-range chicken roaming nearby. Give a snack to a pasture raised pig or pick some flowers.
